The Hunterdon Art Museum presents changing exhibitions of contemporary art and design in a nineteenth century stone mill that is on the National Register of Historic Places. In this unique setting, the museum, a landmark regional art center since 1952, shows work by established and emerging artists and offers a dynamic schedule of art classes for children and adults. Studio classes, workshops, gallery talks, and docent-led gallery tours are some of the educational programs the museum offers.

Beautiful Skylands NJ - Merrill Creek Hiking Trail

We hiked around the entire Merrill Creek Reservoir the other day. We took our time, took lots of photos and made it all the way around in about 3.5 hours. I took this picture on one of the many trails at Merrill Creek. This is a beautiful part of the New Jersey Skylands area. Take your kids or your dog and get outside in NJ.

Beautiful New Jersey - Old Barn in Warren County

I spotted this old barn on a back road in Warren County New Jersey not far from Route 173. I plan to return on a cloudy day to catch this barn at sunset. Just another example of beautiful New Jersey. Shot this with my Canon T1i.

Beautiful New Jersey - Balloon Festival

New Jersey balloon festival in Alexandria. We decided to get up early and catch the sunrise balloon lift-off at the Alexandria airport. The balloons were great but the parking was a mess. They directed us to park in a giant field and it had rained pretty hard the night before. People were getting stuck in the mud all over the place. Luckily we left early and although we didn't escape the mud we did make it out. Beautiful Hunterdon County New Jersey.

B&W of River in High Bridge, NJ

I took this black and white photograph in High Bridge, New Jersey while biking along the Columbia Trail. Shot with my Canon T1i, 18-55mm lens, in monochrome manual mode. There's something about black and white photographs that I just love.

Farm at Sunset

It had rained earlier and the fields had this great fog over them. I took this photo right after sunset and the sky was perfect. Just a few clouds and warm tones. Beautiful Greenwich, NJ.

Beautiful New Jersey - Merrill Creek Resevoir

I took this photo at the Merrill Creek Resevoir in front of the bird blind. I'm no pro but in case you're wondering I shot this with my Canon T1i, 18-55mm lens, circular polarizer filter and I used a tripod. The filter darkened the shot but it also added some great depth to the clouds. New Jersey is beautiful, you just need to know where to look.
